Pamper Time at Nailaholics!

I’m the type of person who prioritizes travel over everything else. In every opportunity that I get, I always make sure to put it on my savings and ‘travel’ budget. I rarely shop (I’m also trying to live minimally), and pampering sessions were a leisure that I don’t often get. So when I received an invite from Nailaholics, I didn’t hesitate to say yes and grab the opportunity to relax and be a girl even for a bit.

When I was in college, manicure and pedicure were something that I would religiously do twice a month. I’d make sure to allot some time for myself amidst all the dance training, org activities, theater productions, and academics, among many others. When I graduated and started working, I found myself spending more time at work that I’ve almost forgotten how it feels like to relax. It wasn’t until lately when I become more aware of how ‘too much productivity’ was damaging myself that I vow to take the time to take care of myself. I think grabbing this opportunity was unconsciously my first step to taking more care of myself, more than anything else.

MY NAILAHOLICS EXPERIENCE

During my visit at Nailaholics, I was treated with a foot spa and a regular manicure-pedicure session. It’s been a while since I last had a foot massage, and I am extremely grateful for being able to spend some time for myself. It was my first time to try Nailaholics’ service, and despite having a technician who was a bit grumpy (maybe she was tired LOL), the transaction went pretty smoothly. The ambiance was nice and homey, and I wouldn’t mind going back to get my nails done next time. I had my treatment at Fisher Mall, but since it’s a bit far from where I work and live (I only went there because I had to go somewhere in Tomas Morato), I might visit them some other time. Care to come with me? πŸ™‚

RATES

Nailaholics’ rates are pretty at standard with those that you’d usually see in the malls. The services that I availed were Serene Island Manicure (P190) and Palm Beach Pedicure (P230). They also have other treatmentsΒ  and services like Nail Extensions, Waxing (comes with a hand or foot spa!), and Massage Therapy. You can check their complete rates and services by clicking here!

Nailaholics

I know they have pretty reasonable rates, but who wouldn’t want a FREE treatment from them, right? If you’re itching to try their service (or if you just need some tender loving care for your nails), you can visit any of their branches nationwide on October 17 from 10:00AM-12:00NN to celebrate the #NationalPamperingDay! You’ll get to enjoy a relaxing manicure and stress-relieving hand massage all for FREE. Better mark those calendars and set aside some time for yourself.

I know that “me time” can sound a bit of an indulgence, and at these challenging times where it feels like our value is quantified through productivity, I guess there’s really nothing wrong with giving yourself a moment to breathe. Besides, how can you churn out quality work if you don’t pause and recharge, right?

  1. It was only recently na I had my nails done and it’s just because I’m getting married. I just cut my nails on my own and I don’t put nail polish na kasi minsan nakakalimutan kong tanggalin because of my busy work sched and it just damages my nails.

  2. To be completely honest, I don’t know how to properly cut my nails that I always always hurt myself. But since I’m busy with work and I mostly spend my weekends at home watching series or sleeping, I’ve got no choice but to do the cleaning myself. Good thing you can buy the cleaning pack in the market. I’ve never tried Nailaholics before but I might reconsider visiting this place and get their Hand and Foot Treatment πŸ™‚

    1. It’s actually pretty convenient having someone else take care of you hahaha πŸ™‚ How I wish it won’t cost me as much nyahaha but nailaholics was definitely wortht he money tho πŸ™‚

    2. Yas!!! Doing it by yourself is cheap and efficient, but sometimes having it done by someone else is rewarding. Hehe! πŸ™‚

  3. Did you know that my boyfriend and I have plans on pampering ourselves after our final examinations through a mani and pedi? It was also a nice idea for us to bond in a girly way and you know, let him get to know more of these things. It will be our first time to have this bond unlike the other times which we only accompany each other like he badly needed a haircut. Haha! πŸ˜€ *sigh* Today is October 17 and how I wish I was there to avail the free promo. πŸ˜€

    1. I hope you were able to avail it!!! Although the idea of a pampering date sounds fun. I did bring my boyfriend once and he immensely enjoyed a foot spa (though he didn’t get any other treatment HAHA)

  4. I haven’t had my nails pedicured! Mom never wanted me to have one πŸ™ haha, but I’m eyeing to get pedicured/manicured this year. πŸ˜€

  5. I do my own nails and all but I’ve tried Nailaholics before! They have a nice staff and service but then my nail polish had bubbles in them. πŸ™
