Us the Duo Live
Coping up at work
The cycle of failing and realigning life goals
Surviving and soldiering on
Life has been quite a whirlwind the past few weeks, maybe because I feel like I have too much on my plate already but can’t seem to just unload and let go of some things. I have been craving to escape yet again, but time and money isn’t in my favor, so I end up staying in bed and feeling imprisoned to the four corners of our house. It’s a pretty hard time, but I guess all I could do is soldier on and keep on realigning things until something clicks and works out. It’s a tough life, but I’m trying my best to help myself and keep moving forward. Because, really, who would help you out but yourself, right?
Some of my week’s highlights would be seeing Us the Duo perform live. I’ve been a huge fan, so it was such a dream come true that I get to hear them belt out songs in the flesh. I also met up with Danna for the last time this year as she’s already heading to Dubai. It was rather quick, but I’m very happy that things are falling into place for her. She kind of inspired me to travel to Dubai as well, but we’ll see what will happen.
Aside from that, the holiday was also a huge thing for me, as I was able to go to Antipolo and explore the place with D. We haven’t seen each other for a long while now, so it felt quite refreshing to meet him and hear his musings about life, while we go around Pinto Art Museum and Hinulugang Taktak.
I can’t really say that things are looking great, but I am working on that and I bet it’ll turn out to be okay in a while.
P.S.: I’m really sorry for all the unanswered comments. As I’ve mentioned earlier, I’m trying to keep myself afloat the past few weeks, so I haven’t really checked my blog as much as I intended to. Just tweet on twitter, I reply faster! Hehe! 🙂
How about you? How are things doing lately? 🙂
