Jessie J Post Concert Anxiety

I have always been a fan of Jessie J since her full bangs era, and I have always loved her powerful vocals and meaningful songs. It is of a great honor to be chosen as the writer to cover the concert for When in Manila, and it is a bigger opportunity for me to be able to go to the pit and shoot (as much as I can!) Jessie J while performing! Ahhh!

My feels for the concert was  actually overwhelming (see my article here!) and I swear, I still couldn’t get over her performances. She was also very nice, from being undeniably kind to her fans to being lovable to her staff. I wish I was able to attend her meet and greet, though, because, for sure, hugging her would be such a history to my life. Ha ha.

Anyway, here’s a quick photo dump of my shots from the concert. I wasn’t really supposed to shoot, but since my friend and I decided to stick together (she’s the one who officially took the photos for the article), I eventually ended up at the pit, trying to huddle with the rest of the photographers. I was only sporting my good old Canon 1000D (entry level whaddup!) and a kit lens (too poor to purchase other lenses… *sigh), and I really felt like I was the odd one out in there (they were all professionals). Nonetheless, I decided to just enjoy my privilege and here’s the result of my attempt on shooting for a concert. I hope I’d be able to shoot and watch concerts more next time!

So, what do you guys think? 🙂 I only got to shoot her first three songs, but nonetheless, I really really REALLY enjoyed her concert! Awesome experience considering that this was my first time watching a concert in Araneta (hehe! I’m such a noob, I know).
To more concert and experiences! Hearts!

  1. i thought concerts are a waste of money and time but attending to two makes me want to go to all the concerts of my fave band (but of course I can't, I'll be bankrupt if I'll do that). amazing how many well known artist visit our country now, I just hope that we all have lots of money to attend their events and have a great/grand time 🙂

@Kylie – Yes, she's really good! Sana bumalik sya dito tho!

@Angel – Yes! She sang it. It was her second song, I believe. 😀

@Jewel – Salamat! 🙂 Actually I was at the photog's pit, so nobody was really bumping me and stuff. Thank you! Followed you on IG!

@Arya – I agree! It's just a little too expensive to go to concerts, but heck, they are super fun!!!

@Pam – Salamat! Hihi. I used my SLR but it's a starter kit so it's nothing compared to the others. But still, I got pretty decent shots and I'm happy abt that. Hihi!

@Louise – Thanks for dropping by as well! <3

@Deej – Onga, it's been a while! Been really busy lately e. 🙂 Was only able to take photos during her first three songs. The rest, I just sat and sang along. Hehe 🙂
